The door is often the first thing up for inspection by view home buyers. Insert the hinge plate to the cut-outs that are hinge. If they don’t fit level, or won’t fit to the tracings, continue shaving and cutting the cutouts till the hinge plates fit flush and snug to the hinge cutouts, known as mortises.

Screw the hinges to the door with the screws and the screw gun. Hold the door that is new set up on the jamb. The hinge plates back to the jambs. Use the screw gun to screw the hinges onto the jambs. Put on.
