The Way to Get Rid of Smoke Odors in a Bathroom

Smoke odors can sneak into your bathroom. If you burn something in a different room or your own kitchen and bath vents are linked, the bathroom can choose a smoky odor. If the room has windows, then it’s simpler to air out the stench, but you can still circulate air through a closed bathroom to have the odor moving. The best cleansers for smoke smell neutralize the odor instead of covering it up with fragrance.

Sweep the bathroom and vacuum the walls all of the way to the ceiling with an upholstery attachment.

Launder curtains and shower curtains in hot water, adding laundry detergent according to the package instructions. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle.

Sprinkle baking soda onto a damp sponge and scrub floors, grout and ceramic tile. Catch the baking soda to the surface for many hours or overnight to allow it to absorb odor. Rinse with clear water.

Catch bowls of baking soda or white vinegar around the room to help absorb odors.

Mix 1/2 cup vinegar and 1 cup water in a spray bottle. Spray the bathroom and use the brush to scrub the grout, rubber seals and shingles again. The vinegar will make the baking-soda paste bubble.

Rinse all surfaces with plain water and then wipe them down with a sponge.

Open all the windows, turn on the vent and set a lover in the center of the room. Air the bathroom for many hours or overnight.
